While the epic storm that struck Western Alaska left Sitka unscathed, routine November weather in Southeast can be pretty dirty. This gale blew in early Saturday morning (11-12-11) and kicked up 18-inch chop in the harbor. At least one vessel sank. Video by Cassidy Patnoe, M/V El Greco.
