Charters to keep 2-fish limit for now

JUNEAU, ALASKA (2008-06-20) Southeast charter halibut clients will continue to be allowed to catch up to two fish a day. A federal judge has granted a preliminary injunction requested by a group of charter operators and lodge-owners.

The lodge-owner and halibut captain's group lists its purpose as to: Advocate for a fair and equitable interim allocation, support the Moratorium implementation, provide a forum for consensus on a long term solution, and educate industry, decision makers and influencers on charter halibut issues
