Palin resignation gets mixed reviews in Juneau
Rebecca Sheir
JUNEAU, ALASKA (2009-07-05) The state, and country, are still reeling from Sarah Palin’s announcement Friday that she’ll be stepping down as governor later this month.
Palin was scheduled to appear in Juneau, to take part in the Independence Day, and statehood anniversary, celebrations.
But as Rebecca Sheir reports, when it came time for the actual events, the outgoing governor was a no-show. (She did watch the parade for a while.)
