SITKA, ALASKA
The Izzy B is homeported in Seattle. The crew reported 300 gallons of diesel and 1,000 pounds of geoduck on board.
A helicopter from Air Station Sitka is scheduled to overfly the vessel today to assess its condition. The Coast Guard says the two Good Samaritan vessels, the Death Barge and BJ, “made the difference between life and death” in the incident.
