Danny Kean looks on as a trio of Mt. Edgecumbe High students plays on the piano installed in the bed of his pickup truck Wednesday evening (10-19-11). Kean, originally from Philadelphia, has been traveling with his piano for the past six years to spread “fun, friendship, respect, and musical empowerment worldwide.” The piano is actually an electric keyboard; his original acoustic instrument didn’t last a year on the road. His beagle Mo, however, is the real thing.
