The state is planning a complete overhaul of the entire length of Halibut Point Road, and it’s looking for your voice before it gets started.
The Alaska Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday inside Harrigan Centennial Hall to present the $1.2 million plan to the public, and to seek feedback.
The plan includes pavement resurfacing for the entire length of the road, bridge replacements at Granite and No Name creeks, improvements to drainage, guard rail replacements and other changes.
