Sitkans gathered in Totem Square yesterday to commemorate Memorial Day. There were speeches from members of the Coast Guard, veterans and family members of military personnel. Afterward, some veterans gathered for food. Below are some sights from Monday’s ceremony, and some sounds from inside the American Legion hall.
