Mollie Kabler and Kitty LaBounty divulged their favorite Sitka flowers on the Garden Show last weekend (6-23-12). True to form, Sitka’s favorite gardening hosts walked into the studio with only the above list — all their commentary was from the hip (and the heart!). In case you missed it, here’s the Garden Show’s top ten:
1. Meconopsis (blue poppies).
2. Daffodils (especially the miniature varieties).
3. Livingstone daisies.
4. Primroses.
5. Nasturtium.
6. Monkshood.
7. Astilbe.
8. Erythronium (Mollie believes the local variety is a hybrid of some kind).
9. Fuschia.
10. Clematis.
