Graphic novelist Amanda Murphyao is working on an academic thesis contrasting Alaska’s statehood with the territorialization of Nunavat, Canada. She’s in Sitka for a seven-week fellowship program on the Sheldon Jackson Campus. She and SitkaFest co-director Paul Cox discuss the program, and preview Murphyao’s presentation at this Saturday’s (7-20-12) TEDx event at Allen Auditorium.
