The bearcams at Brooks Camp in Katmai National Park & Preserve were restored at 12:01 this morning (7-24-12), providing hours of mesmerizing fun for internet viewers around the globe. The project is a joint effort of the Annenberg Foundation and Explore.org. This cam is pointed at Brooks Falls. To get a small taste of what it’s like to fish for sockeye at Sitka’s Redoubt Falls, try watching these bears over your shoulder!
