She says more parents are coming forward to have children evaluated for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, as the shame drops from this syndrome. This Sunday (9-7-12) is International FASD Awareness Day. Young says local professionals will use the coincidence to try and distribute information in churches.
