The Naa Kahidi Dancers performed at the Sheet’ka Kwaan Naa Kahidi on Saturday (9-20-14) to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary. The Naa Kahidi Dancers were founded in 1994 by Chuck Miller, who began dancing when he was three years old, in the Sitka Native Education Program. “When I dance, when I put on my regalia, it feels like my ancestors are running through my veins,” he said. – Anne Brice
