At Blatchley Middle School, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders spent last week experimenting with classes off the curricular path. It’s called Discover Your Potential Week.
Students took four classes from among 78 distinct choices taught by volunteers from around the community. From junior roller derby to sea kayaking, cupcake wars to Mexican cooking, it was a chance for students to figure out their passions. Reporters with the radio class interviewed fellow classmates and brought back this audio postcard.
