The Sitka Assembly will hold its first meeting tonight in its temporary home at the University of Alaska, Southeast.
UAS will host Assembly meetings for the next eighteen months, while Harrigan Centennial Hall is under construction.
Raven News will continue to broadcast the meetings live, but there will be no live television coverage while the assembly is in its temporary chambers. Sitka’s cable Channel 11, which usually carries the meeting, is unable to broadcast live from the UAS campus.
Viewers who want to watch the meeting can stream it live on the city’s website. Click on the “in progress” link during the meeting, or the “video” link if watching after the meeting.
Channel 11 will broadcast the meeting later in the week.
