As of 5:30 PM Thursday (8-20-15) Sitka authorities have lifted the evacuation order for residents of Kramer Avenue south of Jacob Circle.
Residents are now free to return to their homes in these areas, along with residents of Whale Watch and Sand Dollar drives.
An evacuation order remains in place for residents of Kramer Avenue north of Jacob Circle, and for residents of Jacob Circle itself.
