The Girl Scouts of Alaska will host a Women of Science and Technology Day in Sitka, on Saturday, Sept. 26th. This is the 23rd year the State chapter has sponsored this event. Women of Science engages girls in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. KCAW News spoke with Victoria Lorde, Girl Scouts of Alaska Southern Southeast Member Services and Program Specialist.
