Linda Williams, Sitka community liaison for 150th anniversary of the transfer of Alaska, chats about the upcoming sesquicentennial commemoration of the 1867 transfer of Russia to Alaska. she and other organizers have their sights set on 2017 for an event to mark the occasion and draw tourists to the area.
