Erin Matthes, the Therapeutic Program Director at Brave Heart Volunteers, discusses a new program called Lotsa Helping Hands. This confidential online tool is used by caregivers in Sitka – and throughout the world – to seek out resources and support. Mattes explains how it enlists family and friends in the caregiving process, coordinating meals, rides, etc., and how it is being used in Sitka.
Matthes will lead an interactive presentation on how to use this program tonight (01-21-15) at the Sealing Cove Business Center from 4-5 p.m. Light refreshments will be included.
