Andrew Thoms and Molly Johnson with the Sitka Conservation Society joined us in the studio, along with Jasmine Shaw of the UAF Cooperative Extension Service to talk about this summer’s 4-H programming as well as how state budget cuts will affect the 4-H program.
Earlier this summer, 4-H offered several camps, including a canning camp and a harvesting camp. This week, 4-H is hosting a survival camp, and will soon offer a kayaking camp. For more information, call the Sitka Conservation Society office at 747-7509
