Karen Bretz, an organist at St. Mary’s Church in Anchorage, talks about the Advent Organ Recital, which she’s performing today at noon at the Lutheran Church in Sitka. The organ at the Lutheran church is entirely mechanical. Bretz talks about what makes playing that instrument unique and the advent hymns she’ll be performing.
