The Alaska Longline Fishermen’s Association is seeking applicants for its budding Crewmember Apprentice Program. In 2017, ALFA was awarded a $142,000 national grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to get more boots on deck statewide. Eric Jordan and Cathryn Klusmeier joined us in the studio along with Lisa to talk about it.
