Elevation seekers can expect to take the long way up Harbor Mountain later this week.
Harbor Mountain road will be closed for annual maintenance starting Thursday, May 31st at 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 1st. That’s when the U.S. Forest Service will reopen the gates.
Heavy equipment will be operating on the road during that time. For more information, call the District Ranger’s office at 747-6671.
