Roger Schmidt, executive director of the Sitka Fine Arts Camp, tells us what really goes on behind the scenes at this culmination of organization, talent, and teaching. This year the camp will feature musicians, a musical adaptation of Legally Blonde, a jazz dance intensive, and classes for adults. The program will also incorporate mentoring from past students, putting into practice the idea that teachers are always learners, and learners always teachers.
