Debbie Miller is a Sitka-based author of On Artic Ground and Midnight Wilderness. In her latest book, A Wild Promise: Prince William Sound, Miller and photographer Hugh Rose depict the wild life and fauna present in the Sound and the surrounding Chugach National Forest.
Miller also serves on the board of the Alaska Wilderness League. On today’s Morning Interview, Miller discusses her book and the history of the Chugach National Forest, which is under consideration for official wilderness designation and currently accepting public comment until November 1st.
