The Greater Sitka Legacy Fund, an affiliate of the Alaska Community Foundation, will host an open house on November 27 for Giving Tuesday, a post-Black Friday international holiday of charitable giving.
GSLF is a long-term endowment that supports local nonprofits through grants ranging from $500 to $1500. As the endowment grows through income from investments and charitable donations, more money will become available for grantmaking.
