Local teens are raising funds for a Sitka Health Summit goal to start a Teen Center in Sitka. Matthew Jackson of Youth Advocates of Sitka and Dakota Peavey, a local teen, joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton in the studio to discuss their plans for the center.
The group is organizing an “escape room” event on Friday, Feb 8th, to give Sitkans an idea of what that center could look like.
