Captain’s log, Stardate 96720.11: We’ve beamed down to a strange new world called Sitka, Alaska. The people that call this planet home are getting ready for an annual adult variety show – a Ramshackle Cabaret – that features dance, comedy and burlesque acts from across the galaxy.

Number One picked up a telling transmission from something called a
“K-C-A-W,” a primitive electromagnetic communications system. One Erin Fulton spoke to fellow organizers of the event who say proceeds support organizations in Alaska that support reproductive & sexual health.

We’ve also learned VIP tickets are sold out but general admission tickets are on sale for $25 at “Old Harbor Books.” The show is Friday Feb. 15th and Saturday Feb. 16th at Harrigan Centennial Hall. Doors open at 8 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m.

The crew is looking forward to taking leave in Sitka, but I have a feeling we may not escape with our uniforms.
