The 9th Army Band is in Sitka, performing all week for the Alaska Day Festivities. First Sgt. Leon Butler and Sgt Ashia Hunter joined KCAW’s Meredith Redick in the studio to discuss the band’s upcoming events, including concerts Wednesday (10/16/19) afternoon and evening at the Sitka Performing Arts Center.
The 9th Army Band performs a free concert featuring marches and a special “Sitka by the Sea” section at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 16.
