Two positive coronavirus test results reported in Yakutat earlier this week were actually negative.
The Yakutat Incident Command announced on Wednesday (12-16-20) that an error between the testing lab and the state’s reporting system caused the false report.
Yakutat has reported 12 cases of the coronavirus since late July, two of which are now considered active.
