The annual BANFF Mountain Film Festival returns to Sitka this weekend, with a screening featuring eight short films that highlight outdoor adventures around the world. Sitka Fine Arts Camp’s Kenley Jackson joined KCAW’s Erin Fulton to talk about rock-climbing in Sardinia, base-jumping in Pakistan, and tandem skiing in Minnesota — and how Sitkans can enjoy those adventures from the comfort of their seats. Listen to the full interview here:
The screening is Friday, February 23 at 7 p.m. at the Sitka Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available at the door or at fineartscamp.org.
