Municipal administrator John Leach joins us to discuss tonight’s joint meeting of the Sitka Assembly and the Sitka Tourism Task Force (6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, Harrigan Centennial Hall main auditorium), which has prepared a list of 32 recommendations on managing the community’s rapid growth in cruise tourism. Also, Leach shares plans to include a new tourism manager position in next year’s municipal budget.
