Sitka Tribe of Alaska to offer up to $8000 for household heat pump installations

Sitka Tribe of Alaska will offer financial incentives of up to $8,000 for Tribal Citizen households in Sitka to install heat pumps. The pilot program, offered in partnership with nonprofit Alaska Heat Smart, is targeted to STA citizens living in Sitka that own their homes. Program eligibility information and the online application are available at https://akheatsmart.org/financial-assistance/. A paper copy of the application is available at the STA Social Services Department at 204 Siginaka Way. Households that need assistance
