Fab Friday is an after-school program for middle school-age students at the Sitka Sound Science Center (2:10 – 4 pm Fridays beginning September 20th, meet at the Blatchley Commons). There’s a new topic every semester, from robotics to coding to marine biology. Katie Niedermeyer is the after-school program coordinator for Youth Advocates of Sitka (YAS), and Maia Carter is the STEAM coordinator for the Sitka Sound Science Center. Register online, or drop by the Science Center to pick up a registration form. There is no cost for the program.
