Jodi Kaplan (producer) and Tiffany Rae-Fisher (artistic director) are with the dance company Emerge 125, based in Harlem, in New York City (with a second home in the Adirondacks). Emerge 125 is on a 10-city tour of Alaska, beginning in Sitka, 7 p.m. Friday, September 13, at the Sitka Performing Arts Center. The Sitka performance is sponsored by GCI, there is no charge for tickets. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (Patrons who purchased tickets in advance will receive a full refund, and have their original seats reserved for them).
