Juneau bishop to hold public forum in Sitka

The leader of the Catholic Diocese of Juneau wants to talk ... to you. Bishop Edward Burns is holding a public forum at 7 p.m. tonight at Harrigan Centennial Hall.

Assembly: Liquor licenses and dog laws

Tuesday night's Sitka Assembly meeting included the city's protest of a liquor license renewal, and two new ordinances about where you can exercise your dogs.

Economic forum counts on your voice

Garry White, executive director of the Sitka Economic Development Association, explains the second annual economic forum, to be held April 16 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at Centennial Hall. He's joined by Steve Reifenstuhl, vice president of the SEDA board. The idea of the forum is for members of the community to share ideas on how to stabilize and grow Sitka's economy.
