French: Trading up to the 3rd floor of the capitol

Sen. Hollis French is making another bid for the executive branch, this time as Lt. Governor. The 12-year veteran of the Alaska state senate ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2010. French was in Sitka Monday (7-7-14) as part of a 10-day campaign swing through Southeast Alaska. He's been instrumental in organizing a citizen initiative to repeal the governor's oil tax bill -- SB 21 -- and says he'll make a good team with Byron Mallot. Read More
